Long-Term Rental Apartment — Žižkov, Prague

This two-room apartment (2+kk) is located in the heart of Prague’s Žižkov district and was designed for long-term rental. The main objective was to create a well-balanced, functional layout that feels comfortable and thoughtfully structured for everyday living.

The original plan required refinement. We reconfigured the kitchen area by extending it into an existing niche, which allowed us to enlarge the main living space. This intervention simultaneously created a dedicated walk-in wardrobe in the bedroom, improving storage without compromising the room’s proportions.

To enhance the sense of openness and bring natural daylight deeper into the layout, we introduced glass blocks between the kitchen and adjacent spaces. This element not only improves light flow but also adds a subtle architectural character to the interior.

Designed for a single tenant or a couple, the apartment combines practical spatial solutions with a calm, contemporary aesthetic — making it suitable for long-term living rather than temporary stays.
